Actually.. what I'd like to know greenbox is what performance upgrades you made that you personally feel are 'crucial'? If you had to do it again what parts would you absolutely have to put in again?

That will help me establish a target for the performance parts, and aim a little lower for some of the parts I don't think I really need to dump into it.

For what it's worth, I don't want your car. Haha. I won't put NOS in my car... ever. I simply have no interest in doing what NOS is intended to be used for. But what I want is a damn good machine.

I was expecting to drop the TRD super into it, but it appears there's other options. Care to give a tell all for the new comers? You're a damn good reference point to work from.

well sans if going to get the s/c i would first get a header i reccommend the mmw or the alphawerks header they seem to flow better than the meagan. change the s-pipe with the
zpi. on the exhaust side i really go with the greddy evo-2 but if you dont want it too loud id get a magnalfow like i did to keep it low tune. if you want to go with more boost then get the zpi or the nst pulley. oh before i forget my car felt more torquey with the stock piping rather than my custom 3in. which i have now. and the most important thing to me as a must have is engine management i am using the e-manage but will change for the ultimate soon.so i hope i helped in any way as i did alot of trial and error before i got the car the way i want it to perform.

The reason you may be feeling a loss in torque might be because the loss of backpressure. 3" exhaust only make sense on High HP big CI applications or TurboCharged vehicles. You're putting out more exhaust, but i don't think enough to make a 3" exhaust bennificial. Just my .02

yeah at that trap speed i'd say you need to stop spinning, that's insane for that time.. i run a9.5 in the 1/8 and trap at 77.62. good luck with those traction issues

What size shot? Wet or dry?

By the way, the AP pulley helps out alot.. My trap speed went up by 1 full MPH in the 1/8th by just adding that mod. I couldn't get the ET to go down at all but you can tell by the trap speed that it did alot for $150. I just have to wait for a nice cool night to get a better time.

If it's more then a 50shot then there is something up, 3-4mph over my trap speed & -.3 off the ET is not good for having another 60-70 torque.

I dont have any plans on making a drag car out of a 4 banger with FWD (making them quick is fun.. but that is about it for me.. when I build a serious 1/4 mile car, it will be a RWD platform with a little more displacement for sure.. much more fun)... but you have never heard of 1/8 mile drag racing? Granted it is not as fun as 1/4 mile.. but driver wise, the first half the race is the most important. And 1/8 mile has been everywhere for as long as I can remember (which.. if you are close to your gf age.. is about 10 years longer than you can remember )

And I do assume that guy was running drag radials.. No point in buring out on a set of street tires at all.
