Wow. I figured I'd get that sort of response eventually, but I assumed it would come from someone in their teens.
Rich has been a great friend to everyone in the Scion community in Texas and is now in a desperate time of need. I see nothing wrong in spreading the request for help to other Scion owners... especially when it is to help another Scion owner who has always been willing to open his doors to any Scion owner in need of anything.

I'm not saying trying to help someone is bad... but there is just no reason to post it in EVERY forum. It is one of the site's rules... helpful topic or not.
I'm sure he's a great guy and would really help out anyone in need, just as you say. But that just has no bearing on posting something that many times in that many places.
Call me inconsiderate or heartless or whatever... but his personal situation has nothing to do with you spamming this on every forum.
I do wish his son the best and hopefully everything will work out for them... but ya, everything else has been said.
