Happy new year everyone..this is a picture post of how I feed the urge to see my recently purchased TRD supercharger "polished"

I started with the Dremel steel wheels as used in my other post https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...254&highlight= and then a series of sandings with 150, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, and then some serious polishing with a 6" polishing wheel on a drill. This is no joke...

The charger is up and running, sounds and feels good. I am going to slowly break it in.

looks like a 2-3 hour job. how long did it take?

 

i was gonna do the same on mine after doin my valve cover but just waiting for the weather to clear up since its a pita to take off the supercharger. looks good though.

 

I polished it a couple hours each night for about four days, so I probably have 8-10 hours in it. The texture that is on the surface is hard core.

I polished mine like 6 months ago or so. I spent about 20 hours doing it.
