I was actually thinking about trading my 06 tc with 41k miles for another 06 TC in silver or white with about the same amount of miles. The downer is, I just got the car a year ago.....so my loan is still kind of fresh. I have a blk one by the way.

Hmmmmm I know it would be better to do it private.....The reason for trading is.....I have none. I just love the white and silver color. I needed a whip at the time and all they had was black. I know.....just like every young person, I rushed into the car.

 

Youre going to lose thousands of dollars to change the color. Totally not worth it and you will regret it. Go look at the BSP thread for pics of some nice BSP tc's.

 

yeah.... it sucks but you are kinda stuck with it now. you will still have to pay tax and registration on the new car. but if you really want to do this, just go to carmax and see how much they'll give you for your car. after you get the quote you'll know exactly how much you can spend and if its even worth it or not

Yes, yes you can. I did. I traded my 05 BSP auto for an 07 NBM manual. I lost my behind at the stealership, but I guess that's a price I was willing to pay for a manual transmission. If you just want a different color, try try try to like the color you have. Personally, I think a well maintained(read: swirl free) BSP looks fantastic!

What can I say, hindsight is 20/20. I had considered a better car, a Z, but because I had an accident on record the insurance was going to be outrageous.

The money you are going to use to paint the car a different color is going to run you like $4 or $5 gs. Not worth it. Your stuck with a black car, youll live. =]

I'm telling you man, hit it with good polish like MENZ 203 and follow it with 085, a good glaze and a top coat of good wax like Chemical Guys 50/50 and that car will shine like chrome! Then you won't be able to help but love the color.
