lol yea. It's easy to hang out of the WRX, not so much the GTI. And I need to be a passenger to take shots, lol. I'll be driving on Saturday. But I love taking these shots. I was hanging out of the GTI and taking shots of the WRX and my friend Tom (WRX) said the car next to him was trying to wave to me and ____, they thought I was taking pictures of them rofl.

ya these arent hard zombies. just sick between 1/80th - 1/40th depending on how much motion blur you want and f/3 - f/6 for apeture. also, use a wide angel if you can like the 18-55 but stay between 18-35.

It is pretty confusing at first lol. Honestly just read the manual that comes with the camera, it explains it really well. I understand what everything is, just have a hard time applying it to real time situations.

Once you learn what each setting actually does, it all makes sense. Once you know the technicalities of it, the settings all start to make sense and fall into place. Depending on what you're shooting, you'll be using different modes. I stick to aperture and shutter priority more than anything. Aperture priority for general shooting, and shutter priority for action shots.

And the 50mm is pretty much useless for rolling shots. It would be good for up close shots of a wheel in motion or something like that, but for general rolling shots, it's a waste of time to try. You need to have 2 full lanes between you and the subject if you want to get the entire subject in frame. I had one lane between me and a BMW X5 and it was cutting off the front/rear bumpers.
Then again, if you had a full-frame sensor, the 50mm would probably be fine for 1 lane separation.

I was actually talking about stationary night shots with the 50mm, guess that shouldn't be in this thread though hehehe. If someone gives me the settings to make the picture look nice I can pull it off, I just have a hard time finding them on my own.
