My friends and I did this the other day. We also made the spark plug cover.
We did the valve cover, spark plug cover, greddy panel, Injen intake and heat shield.
Started a few more things today. Pics when there done.
Colors are High gloss black and mirror red

I also powdered my stock wheels but no pics yet.I Did them in High gloss black.

Should have colormatched the Greddy Panel... I like it matching the paint better and a bit more glossy.... Looks Good though otherwise....

yea the greddy panel was blue at first but i didnt like the way it looked.

Looks supa-clean! I just painted my Engine and Fuse Box Covers with Dupli-Color Paint...

there is alot of heat on the engine cover. is there a certain paint brand that needs to be used.

 

im using standard heat powders. up to 500f or so.

I beat the snot out of my car to and from etown,nj the other day it it still looks great.

I can do high heat also up to 1000. but the colors are limited.

 

^^also definitely for the heat shield over the stock headers

in the comming weeks i'll be painting my engine cover + fuse box lid nautical blue.

now the question is, should i paint my plastic radiator shroud also or leave it black?

u did great job ! man i gotta questions how did u paint ur wheels ? and i want u to put more pix of ur wheels .I'm trying to paint ma wheels but i'm not sure what i am gonna use don't want to mess it up u know so help me man ....

 

thats not paint. Thats powder coat.

you can use paint but it wont hold up as long as pc. I always painted my wheels on all my cars. Always chipped over time.

use duplicolor wheel paint. Works great.
