Powdercoating offer... gauging interest!
My friends and I are about to start up a powdercoating business and were seeing how much of an interest it was to people. I know that I will be doing my valve cover, Ingall's "stiffy" engine damper brackets, etc etc. Colors would be anything you wanted, cost would have to be worked out when we go into business. We do now have access to facilities that will enable us to do any sized rim as well... let me know if you are interested, what you are interested in getting powdercoated, and maybe what price range you are looking for. Lemme know what you think!
<--- Interested.
Stiffy brackets, valve cover, maybe my stock wheels.
I'd pay ~$50 a wheel and say, $75 for the valve cover and ETD brakets.
BTW, you probably should've put this in PPC.

yeah i have a gun, and the toaster oven is only used for coating small parts, i don't need to do rims for a hobby. you can lay any item flat if the underside won't be seen, and i can hang items from the rack when need be.
charging isn't so hard..clip the item and you are good to go. and charging will simply help you keep the waste down.
charging is not nearly as important as sanding/cleaning/prepping the object thoroughly.
also, you can (though I wouldn't) use an oven for food, if cleaned or if prepped properly. The problem is the mrs. won't like the smell, so my baking is done in the garage.

Our prepping will mostly consist of sand-blasting, which is much easier than sanding an object and if it is needed we can go over any missed areas.
I never said you couldn't eat out of there, but I know I wouldn't. Yes it smells but have you ever thought if the fumes could get into your food? I suppose after a very thorough cleaning that may not happen but that still isn't something I want to do
timfiredog: yes I know you cannot powdercoat plastic parts, although it would be interesting to see what the end result would be after you baked it :D (plus you wouldn't be able to charge the piece either)
Now back on topic, is anyone else interested in this? I know I don't have many details up yet but any feedback is great, so whether it is for your scion or not, let us know what you have in mind!

Everyone just shout out what you would like to be done and a price that seems reasonable to you and we will go from there.
