I remember when a friend of mine did that with his VW.

And they go back up when you hold lock! How coolz is that?

Still, the tc is the only car i've been in that has the one touch up/down for both windows.

Yea i'm sure it's possible, I'm pretty sure their the same unit only different guts.

No idea why scion didn't give the box or the xd that feature.. I think it's pretty rad, and my gf's box is lacking it. I'd be curious for someone to confirm their the same.

You dont think the tc motor will fit in the xd?

I think they are probably the same motor, but they have differet chips or whatever that are programmed differently.

You would probably need tc motors & possibly the tc buttons?

I want to know, that way I only have to open up the xb to see if it's the same as a tc, rather than tearing my own car open.

Your tc is already torn up, lol

I'd like to put all four auto up/down windows in the xb if possible. And if I can find some used motors for a decent price.

Yea I don't like wasting money so i'd probably see if their the same, confirm that, then pull one of my motors out, see if it plugs in directly... then see if it actually auto up/downs. If not, take my control panel out, plug it back into the motor as if it was in my tc, only in the xb and try again.

If that was no good, I wouldn't bother trying any further.

My girlfriend is just jealous they don't do it with tc style, it would be a fun little project.

I just doubt toyota would make (or buy) dozens of different window motors for their cars when they can just use the same couple.
