PROBLEM! Is this covered under warranty???
I was cleaing my headlights today just so they would shine a bit more cause my car was dirty as hell and realized that one of my head lights were out. I thought it was the bulb, but when i put my hand on it to take it out it flickered back on and off. then i took the bulb out and saw that the plastic housing that the bulb connects into it freakin half melted away. maybe it was a loose connection and the prongs melted it? anyway, would anyone know if that is covered under the warrany, i guess it would be considered an electrical problem? if not how much would that cost to get done?
The cause of the burnt headlight bulb harness connectors is those aftermarket bulbs of yours! You must be using a higher wattage bulb than what the connector can handle, thus burning them! Customers at our dealership, especially the SE-R customers, put those high wattage blue or white bulbs in and burn the connectors! They think it's covered...nope!
NOT COVERED UNDER YOUR FACTORY WARRANTY!!!

i took those after market lights out a while ago, cause they just sucked and were cheap and i never got to replace them so they were the original bulbs, so it should be covered. casue it was the oem bulb.. correct??
if it was the stock bulb and no modification was done to the melted harness then yes it should be covered. the same thing happen to me about a year ago, it was covered under warranty and fixed quickly.
