I have a injen sri on my tc you can here it, but its not as loud as other cars ive been in with intake. The short ram gives more of a "air sucking sound" than the full cai.

sometimes you have to hit the gas pedal at the "sweet" spot and you'll definitely hear it. mine is pretty loud and i love the sound of it. when i was getting my car aligned, the guy who was working on my car took my car out to test drive it and i could hear my intake from far away. what a beautiful sound it was . then again, i also have the trd exhaust, which i heard could influence the sound of the intake.

It's a 95 GST. Mayb because there's a turbo on it so it sounds louder. I dunno.

Since everyone says they could hear it well. Are there any chances that my intake was installed incorrectly? If yes, how should i check it?

i dont think there is anyway it could of been installed incorrectly, unless its just not hooked up, check the connection on the throttle body and just make sure its all good, it should be extremely noticeable if anything is unhooked though

if it wasn't installed correctly in any way shape or form your car would:

1. check engine light
2. bog
3. stall and shut down at idle

it's not installed incorrectly, maybe you have byour music too loud, make a video clip for us to hear it.

or maybe it's nto what you expect

Exactly, an intake makes not only the air "sucking" sound but the turbo louder on turbo cars, thats why his is louder than yours.

This should have been extremely obvious when your hearing the turbo, but w/e

lol, that was funnier than this thread. Something has to be wrong with a CAI if it's not making sound, because then it isn't making sound OR power. What's the point?
