Will they both be the same or will there be a difference in sound and performance? The first one is $300.00 less than the second one...

 

Hey. I happen to have the second one installed on my tC and i think it is the better choice. Reason #1: It has less restrictive bends allowing less back pressure and better performance. Reason #2: It sounds awsome! I have mine coupled with a mid-pipe from Megan. It has a sweet rumble.

 

#2 is aka the TRD exhaust

 

I have #2 as well sweet sounding exhaust and the tip looks better then the first choice. As to it being the trd exhaust twin i see that a lot on hear but they sound do not sound alike at all..the trd is way more raspy..so i dunno.

 

They are just axlebacks.. They are both going to do the exact same thing. No power difference and a tiny bit of sound difference.

^^ TRD exhaust is not raspy at all. Put headers on your car or listen to any 4-cylinder with a full header back exhaust. That is rasp.

Get a catback if you want a real difference in performance & sound.

 

I agree its not 100% rasp but it has more raspyness then the borla imo..ive heard the tc's and plenty of 4 bangers with headers and full exhaust and i know what your talkin bout.
