i know im always posting question threads.. but anyways.


if i get a carbon fiber valve cover will it melt? ive heard on boosted cars the stock valve covers will melt. does the same go with the cf cover?

and if not, where can i get one

 

It might not melt but it will fade and yellow a lot faster

 

your talking about the plastic cover right? I've seen people with those on boosted tc's. CF should be ok will def fade and yellow quicker. Put some heat shield on the inside you'll be ok.

 

heat shield plus heat wrap everything which should be done anyways

 

i have the stock plastic one on a turbo tc with a top mount manifold and no problems

 

where can i get the head shield film?
