So i recently noticed that my gauges no longer do that cool thing when you start your car. I have no idea why this is and it kinda bugs me. Any ideas?

Who does your oil changes? Could have been that the person that cleared the Maintenance light accidentally did the sequence that turned the gauge sweep off. Try the following link to see if it fixes it:

Should be #9 to turn it on. #8 is to reset the Maintenance light, and both look kinda similar steps.

it was probably just accidentally turned off.
