Question about the Grill/Bumper
Ok so something must have happened when I went over a bump because my Grill wont stay in place. I looked under the hood an popped it back into place but everyday it pops out. Im really **** (no homo) about perfection so when I see it out of place it drives me nuts. It looks like 1 of the clips that holds the grill in place is broken therefore the grill is slipping out. When I took it to the dealer (to get work on a few other things that were wrong - had to get a new gas cap & tire pressure sensor) they said its the clip which I knew, but that they would need to replace the WHOLE bumper...What should I DO !?
I want to get a lip kit for my scion & eventually get it re-painted (Super White or a semi-dark Red) & I want to egt a new grill without the scion logo. Should I get the new bumper or use some kind of tape/glue ?
PLEASE HELP !!!

Those clips are molded pieces of the bumper itself... So yes, if you want to replace the clip, you have to replace the bumper cover. If I were you, I'd look into rigging some sort of other option.
If I understand you correctly you're looking to replace your OEM grille with a new one anyway, right?
The grille that I have, from GrilleCraft.com, doesn't use the stock mounts. This would both get you that new badgeless grille you were looking for and solve your clip problem.
Both GrilleCraft styles here. http://www.grillcraft.com/applicatio..._Scion_TC.aspx
Also, check out how it looks on my Flint Mica 2010.

Sorry for not posting earlier. I got sent away on a business trip.
The GrilleCraft grilles come with the instructions and hardware needed to mount them. Take off your front bumper, just clipped in with two different types of plastic clips, and drill some small holes to insert the bracing rods attached to the grilles. No mechanic needed, just takes a little time and maybe an extra hand to hold your cumbersome bumper down while you drill the holes.
If you're too leery about drilling into your own bumper then take it to a mechanic, I guess. Really easy and doesn't take any special knowledge to finish the project.
