Hey everyone. I just had a couple of quick questions about headers for a tC....
1. What do you suggest is the best AFFORDABLE brand out there. I know you pay for what you get, most average to be about $200. from what I've seen from well known brands (was looking at a DC Sport).
2. Do all headers fit all years. (I have a '07)
3. Does it matter if you have an auto or a manual?
4. I just installed an Injen intake... will the sound when accelerating change/lower/get louder.... etc? Mainly because I love my cars new sound with the intake.
5. What is the best material... I've heard ceramic. I've also seen stainless steel. Does this cause a different sound with each kind?
THANKS!!

Yes, all headers fit all years.
No it does NOT matter if it's auto or manual.
If you have stock exhaust it sounds a tiny bit buzzy. If you have an after market exhaust it is going to get raspy and loud.
Ceramic is the best, but Stainless Steel is suitable.

THERE ARE NO "JDM" PARTS FOR THE TC.
the tc is a USDM car with NO JDM counterpart, therefore there are no JDM parts for it. now thank you for playing.

I have a full Megan exhaust for my 06 tC (header, s-pipe, midpipe, muffler), but I didn't install the header because of all the negative feedback I read. It's stainless, catless, and I even wrapped it for lower under-hood temps (looks awesome!)
My point is....I doubt the increase in horsepower would justify the extra rasp I keep hearing about.
Yes???

Yes???
it all depends on your preference. the gains off a header are pretty nice for a bolt on mod, but most people that dont do it because of
1)the rasp
2)the possibility of failing emissions
3)breaking expensive o2 sensors
4)throwing a check engine light
