^grrr silverstars look yellow in my high beams compared to my hid kit, hids last longer, therefore are more cost effective

have you done a comparision time wise or something between the 2. Im more than positive any of those eBay hid kits will blow a ballast sooner than the silverstars. Not trying to get involved in another "my hids are better than what you have" threads.

HIDs or silverstars will not hurt the projectors ........I am not sure if there are H11 silverstars out yet though.........I could not find any..........I did find some for my high beams though.........gotta save a week or two to get them though..........

not sure if anyone else that has posted owns a 08, but you already have superwhite bulbs in your car from the factory, i pulled mine out and was going to swap them and they already come with them, if you dont believe me pull one out and check with your local parts store, or just pull up to an older tc, and turn your lights on, yours are a brighter white, unless you want that blue look dont waste your money, what you have now is just fine, save up and get hid's, thats what im doing

all i did different was change the city lights out to some super white 194 bulbs
the headlights themselves are stock

so for 5 bucks yours could look like this

I would like to see someone try this out. Little more work than the 9006 to 9005 swap in the 05-07 tC's, but not hard to do.

i have to agree with silverstreak. Candles > Bulbs. Go with HIDs. Glad I did.
