Default question about the Warrenty

so my back windshield lower defroster (like the last 4 bars) doesn't work. On the broken lines, it looks like it was either rubbed or burned out (can it do that?.) Is that covered under warrenty?

I brought it in and they changed 60 bucks for testing the voltage (i should have done it myself ). It wasn't cover cause they said something rubbed on it and cut off the circuit.

i dont get it? you ask if the rear defroster is covered under warranty because its not working right? then you say you took it in so they can check it out and they charged you $60 for testing and said it wasnt covered under warranty? i guessyou just answered your question? did i miss something?

It would be covered under warranty if it was defective, but since it was cut by something then its not covered.
