Default Question with Insurance?

I received an insurance renewal questionaire in the mail today. There's a question about if my vehicle has been modified and the costs. So my question is, will my insurance go up if I list all the mods and costs? I don't have a ton of stuff on my car but i'd like to see my payments not get any bigger. Thanks.

Most likely. The more you claim, the more the insurance would have to pay in the event of an accident...and they so kindly pass that charge on to you every month.

There are probably ways around this, and I'm sure that someone will correct what I said, but higher monthly bills would be the logical outcome.

Also, the more "mods" you have, the more likely you are to race down a 25 mph road at 150 mph and kill little children and rip the heads off small kittens

whoops, sorry, the spirit of an insurance agent just took over me for a second

I hear what your saying, makes sense to me. I just want the stuff covered even if i claim no mods. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

^^ true that, cops are really biased against people like you (us) as well, even if you get into an accident where you're not at fault, the cop might decide you MUST be at fault because you have a modded car

duh, only people with modded cars committ crimes and break traffic laws!
