Question !!!!! Please help :(

What's the difference between d and the d-3 ? On the stick shift thing. I have an 06 scion tc .. And it's automatic .

And when should I use the d or d-3 ?

The difference is 1 gear. D3 is 3rd, D2 is 2nd, and so on. You should be in D unless you want really bad gas mileage and transmission damage.

Those other gear settings are solely there for sustained high-torque purposes i.e. towing. So unless you're towing a U-Haul or a couple of Jetski's behind your Scion, keep it in D. . . forever.
