any news on the dam ski rack or roof rack???

i meant the rack that you can buy off the toyota dealers... but tht works

 

huh? are you talking about factory roof-racks, with the tracks that go from the front of the roof to the back with load bars, like are on SUVs?? in that case, no. there never will be that type of "roof rack" on a tc.

right now Yakima is the only roof rack for the tC (I think...). Thule hasn't gotten their "kit" together yet, and not sure about any others. I'm relatively sure that you can order a Yakima rack through your Toyota dealer, and yes it works. maybe if you described what you were looking for you might get a clearer response.

 

then i must be dreaming then. because i saw somewhere saying that toyota is going to sell and opitional/ removable roof rack.

 

you werent dreaming haha, I heard about that one too. Havent heard anything lately about it though. maybe later down the line. who knows.

 

I'm pretty sure the Yakima rack IS the one Toyota will be/is selling. I remember flipping through an accessories book at one of the dealers I was at over the summer and it was listed in there..
