Default Rattle from rear sunroof or hatch?

Does anyone else get a rattle that sounds like it's coming from the hatch? We put someone in back who confirmed it's coming from the rear glass panel. On the passenger side. Placing a hand on it doesn't stop the rattle when hitting bumps.

I have that exact same rattle, but nobody that rides in my car notices it. I am not really worried about it now.

NO offense cybergypsy, but why even post that? It has no relevance at all.

She should go spend more time on her alleged **** business and her alleged 36+ cars... Yeah, right...

Have a great tC weekend, gang!

Starting at about 100 miles I had a loud annoying rattle from the right rear. Dealer ordered parts to fix it, but its been 4+ weeks now and no sign of any parts.

There is also a rattle from the front left vent. The sunroof creaks and moans. The stereo door rattles and never worked correctly.

I took it to the dealer along time ago, but they can't get parts to fix anything so its pretty much pointless.

people like cybergypsy are an example of why moderators need to start banning trolls. Look at the comparison....Nick, he has a car and posts his problems ina mature fashion. Cybergypsy goes "HAY GUYS I RUN A **** SITE AND I OWN 40 CARS AND I'VE NEVER HAD A TC AND IT'S THE WORST CAR EVER"

Yeah, that's useful. To absolutely no one. Why that person is allowed on the boards baffles me.

Dear Cybergypsy, nobody thinks you're cool. Get off my internet.

Oh, 3100 miles no sunroof/hatch rattles.

even Nick posted same "post" in 10 different threads, hopefully he will get his stuff fixed.

Most tC problems are few squeaks, mostly from roof which is being fixed... These are annoying, but minor issues... I mean check that nice Mazda 3, Air bag / seat belt pre tensioner module, Crash sensor, Purge valve, Mass airflow sensor all had to be replaced so far due to problems, not to mention ppl getting random cel codes... Worst thing ppl get annoyed with Toyota is a squeak here and there, when in doubt go to Mazda3, GTI, Ion, etc forums and see what the word problem actually means

Default Rattles

I know this is dumb ... but did you take everything out. Maybe it's somthing like a tie down for the spare tire ... or somthing in the back. Somtimes humans overlook the dumb stuff - we moo type don't - ok we might go through the fence rather than the gate ... but that is just cuz we can.
