So, I heard through the grape vine that my tC was in the Readers Rides section of the January '08 issue of Super Street. I ran out to grab a copy and sure enough... there she was. It is only a small pic in the back of a mag but I am still stoked.

hey what kind of overlays do you have over your headlights?? Where can i get those?

 

The only overlays I have on the headlights are the sidemarker overlays from Bluebat.

 

haha stupid me, i ment to say taillights, but i found out they are jons tinted tails. Might get me a pair of those. Do the cops hassle you for your taillights?

 

Haha, yea that is what I figured. I have had the tails for over a year now and I have NEVER had an issue with the police. It may be different in your state.

 

How much did they set you back? For the medium/dark tint?

Yeah the cops in NJ might get ____y at the lights, but w.e lol!

I paid $225. That included the taillights. He just happened to have an extra set sitting around so I didn't have to ship mine to him. Which leaves me with a backup pair in case I ever do get pulled over and get a fix it ticket.

 

Oh damn I totally forgot. I was at work this past Saturday and one of my coworkers was looking through superstreet, he asked me if I knew you. Congratulations. All my friends at work said it looked sick by the way.

 

Dang, I guess I was the last person to know! I didn't even know the new issue was out until somebody told me they saw my car in there.

It wasn't that long ago. Maybe 2-3 months. I was surprised, I figured it would take longer.
