Ready for wider wheels, 18" OR 19"
I have been thinking about so much to push on my tC (DC Strut bar, TRD Springs, TRD Sway Bar)
Also, thinking of wheels! 18" OR 19" "ponder:

I think we don't understand. 17", 18" and 19" have nothing to do with the width of the wheel nor tire.
The only reason to go bigger than the 17" would be style, and as you go bigger the ride will be less comfortable. So, if you want really big wheels for the look, get 'em, but it will hurt the ride quality.

19x8 wheels w/ 225/35-19 tires were originally an option for the tC but toyota decided against it. so im tired of people saying that if you get 19"s it will rub, or youll have problems. The tC was designed to have BIG wheels, so i say go big. The ride may suffer slightly, but none of us is grandmas here so deal with it. And my 19" are only a pound or so heavier than stock wheels so it wont affect performance that much at all!
^One of the first tCs reviewed online had the 19" TRD wheels. They said the tires rubbed. Not all the time, but at full lock, and possibly in the rear under heavy load. It's not like people made it up.
its "BIGGER" wheels but who cares
depends on wat you wanna do with the wheels, autocross or track run or racing or blah blah blah. stick to 17's
if you want looks go 18 or 19 wat ever is cheaper or u can afford
