Default Rear TRD Sway Bar Question

Does the TRD rear sway bar mount across the trunk space or underneath the car?

(sorry for the newbie question)

Sway bar does much more. Stiffer sway bars make the independent suspension a little less independent, as they link the two sides of the suspension together.

so it's better to have a rear sway bar than installing front strut tie bar? Also will the rear sway bar scrape in some way on the speed bumps? I don't know how low they are when installed. And lastly, the TRD springs are cool. Are they installed like in a way you can life it the springs especially during winter season then on summer months lower them again?

you cant lift them..only with coilovers...actually you could raise them during the winter by taking them out and reinstalling your stock springs..but you could do that with any springs.

Yes. No, the car already has a sway bar, the TRD one is just slightly larger. No, you're thinking of adjustable coilovers, where you can alter the ride height (although most people adjust them to their preference then leave them.)

TRD Rear Sway Bar reduces body roll during cornering resulting in improved overall stability, increased maneuverability more neutral cornering. Powder-coated in TRD red, the TRD Rear Sway Bar offers a significant rate increase over stock – 39% stiffer in the “street“ setting (outer hole), and 64% stiffer in the “race“ setting (inner hole).

Anyone know what the sway bar mounts and endlinks look like?

Comming from a Supra the endlinks were made of plastic and would snap if sways were too stiff (this was to protect a really garbagey thin metal mount).
