Uh, feel free to call me a nüb, but how is the RS4 steering wheel any different from the regular tC steering wheel?

The seats are sweet and the kit is decent but the color is lame (for an RS).

the stock wheel is a textured fake leather and this one is a smoother real leather.

Really? I thought I was holding real leather. Had me fooled anyway. I could have sworn it smelled like leather when I first bought the car.

I guess so. I've seen online reviews and dealer sales listings for the regular tC which include mention of a "leather wrapped steering wheel". At least I'm not the only one who was fooled.

I've ridden in my friends 08 and the gauges are definitely not orange. The 05-07 tC has orange gauges and the 08s are very similar to the gauge color on the late 90s BMWs, i.e. red.

very disappointed not worthy of the RS title. not feelin the kit, or the shift ****, and definitely not the color. only good thing is maybe the seats. other than that, they should have took it back to the drawing board IMO

yea, i've been in an 08 as well and the gauges are not red, they are orange. even one the scion site for the 08 changes list it as a deep orange or something to that effect.

Wait, wait, wait. I still don't get it. My steering wheel is silver and black. Are you talking about the one which has the silver plastic pieces with the audio controls? That's an "upgrde"? I thought it was the standard wheel on all tCs.

I believe all 06 or 07+ have the silver pieces with the radio controls. What he is talking about is like the option of the "sports steering wheel" (or w/e it's called) that has parts that are silver and parts that are black.

Ooooh, I get it now. I've never seen that wheel before. But I still thought my '07 regular wheel was leather-wrapped.
