I was hoping to see a wheel that hasn't been done on a tC before, but it does look good. Any reason you decided to buy them new?

 

cuz there are not that many 18x10 vs-xx's in 5x100.

I've seen only 1 set in this size with 5x100 bolt pattern online. I'm pretty sure there are less 5 sets of these rims in this bolt pattern in US.

and I can't imagine me buying used rims. if you are gonna get baller rims why not pay $700 per rim? buying used rims and calling themselves "baller" doesn't make sense to me.

my next wheels will be something that no tC's have but somebody might get them before me. hopefully it won't happen. haha

 

oh yeah, a-disk clears my wilwood bbk perfectly. but o-disk won't clear.

 

yea, I'm planning to lower my car more so I can tuck most tires basically. I'm already scrapping on my driveway but who cares.

BTW, I have no problem with rubbing now. thx to stretched tires. haha

 

No worries. As I said they do look good. I just always hope for something that hasn't been tried before so I can add it to my collection of what works and what doesn't.

a-disk is a type of a wheel face.

a-disk is standard disk

o-disk is low (deep dish) disk less inner clearance but more lip

r-disk is high (bbk) disk has most inner clearance for bbk but has least lip.

The Works are 2pc? Any who, I didnt know you can order rims in A-disk to R-disk..interesting. I figured offset was what determined whether BBKs can fit or not. O-disk is concave right?

 

work wheels have 1, 2 , and 3pcs. wheels.

vs-xx's are 3pc. wheels and that's why they cost more than some of other rims from work.

for vs-xx's disk doesn't impact the design of faces. both my a-disk and o-disk look same, just the hub design in the back is different.

 

all four works are a-disk correct? What o-disk are you referring to, your G-force?
