Right tail light melting (56K warning)
The melting is over the reverse light(hard to see) in the inside of the housing. The dealership has already ordered me a new one all covered under warrenty.

Well wow, thats not really good I feel your pain though, Even though I dont have a TC yet,
because the lack of what The dealers qouted me on my car, I deciding to sell my SE-R personally...
But anyways I dont know how the Toyota warrenties work, but if u get in there and ask them to replace that tail light im pretty sure they will, also i would change that bulb too, that bulb is probably the cause not the taillight...
So check you dealership, and good luck with it and keep us posted, cause I wonder if this is a common problem.

i dont know why you would change the backup light to a brighter one with more watts. unless........you some how ghetto rig it so you have a switch that turns on the lights without being in reverse. this way you can beam tailgaters right in their eyes. If thats the case, I would have went with a HID set up for the back up lights

reagulator... thats an easy one to answer.... i don't own i tc but i do know a few tricks... try finding an LED bulb off of www.superbrightleds.com... i got my brake lights and reverse light off of here... have to warn that the reverse light IS WHITE... (has a blue tint to it) a cop will think it is blue because they are used to seeing clear light which is in fact yellow... i like them... i know some other people don't but im just tryin to help out so that when warrenty runs out you won't find yourself buyin a set of tails all because the reverse light melted the lense...
