Default Road Paint on my tC!!

The idiots in Harrisburg, PA were out today painting lines on the roads and failed to A) put up signs indicating it and B) the stuff didn't dry like it was supposed to as you can see below.

Luckily I got the most of it off at work. It's water based so it comes off easy. I'll use a pressure wash to get off the remaining in the wheel well.

A word of caution to you all as it is Spring time!!!

how could the road paint be water based?? wouldn't it just wash away if it rains? are you sure it didn't come off ur car easily because you had a nice waxed shell to protect it?

but thanks for the warning tho. i'll try not to run over any bright lookin lines. they are doing a lot of construction on the routes and bridges where i live.

Yeah, it can't be oil based anymore...harms the environment or some crap. It was just in the paper here.

That's why they have to repaint year after year.

It stays on the concrete some how. I suppose it has to do w/ the temperature, humidity and so on when it's applied.

It's supposed to dry in 60 seconds...my ****!!
