How do you handle road rage? When somebody cuts you off, or speeds past you in a reckless fashion when you already going the speed limit or a little past. How do you handle the agrivation of other idiot drivers?

Do you ignore it? Speed up and blare your horn? Try to form a moving wall? Give em the finger? Or are you the one normally doing the stuff mentioned above?

 

Two things I usually do, either ride their ___ and with high beams on or speed up and cut them back off.

Sometimes I'm just too tired so I let them be, but if I'm in a bad mood its on!

 

i'll usually speed up to block them in their lane....if im in the mood....usually im tired from school and just let 'em by.....i've learned that its just more stressful/frustrating to zigzag through traffic.....i'd rather set my cruise control at a couple mph over the speed limit..and let them get all worked up about it all..

 

i usually start doing s's behind them and highbeam and honk until they speed the **** up

 

i usually shoot out their tires...

Its pretty immature to do anything back. Its unsafe for all drivers around to try to speed up or tailgate or anything. I just sit in my car and talk trash about the guy and say lots of profane things and wish for him to wreck and die a horribly painful fiery death.

 

yea I'm with dave on that. Honestly I never really had any problems like this. If I see someone flying behind me in the left lane, I'll switch over to the right and let them go. I personally don't care if people speed as long as its not in traffic or in and outa traffic. If I see someone going in and outa traffic. I usually speed up right as they're about to get next to me so they get stuck behind the car in front of them. Then slow down once they hop in behind me. I don't believe i've ever seriously been cut off. Usually I see their blinker for a while before they start to move over.

One time some lady almost side swiped me. Thanks god she used her blinker and her car had the blinker in the mirror like ours does otherwise I wouldn't have seen it and she would have turned into me.

 

I keep old spark plugs in my glove box.. and i ;ll speed a bit past them if a can and throw it at their front window.. Other times I'll just fallow them and bet their lunch out of them with the club I keep in my car.. I have a red one for a reason..

I just let it go.. if someone is in that much of a rush they feel the need to cut me off. I just let it go, cause the are either crazy or stupid and I don't want to get into it with someone this is crazy or stupid, even worse crazy and stupid thats like mixing bleach and an ammonia

 

x2 Im usually speeding so if I "see" someone speeding up behind me because you are supposed to use your mirrors I just move over. One thing I can't stand is for someone not to move over when you are in the left lane speeding. First off if you wanna be the Police, go to the Academy, and secondly who are you to tell me how to drive MY car! .02

 

That's exactly how I feel.

 

I ride a motorcycle and I always run into people that try to form moving walls brake in front of you ride my ___, come on people my bike can outmaneuver outspeed and out brake anything with four wheels. So the question is I always say......WHY EVEN TRY ME!!! Bottom line is, we live in a crazy world with crazy people and nobody knows what whoever is capable of. If they want to kill themselves let them.

i dont really do anything back to them except if they're riding my butt and i can't get them off, ill start to hit the brakes to get them away

 

x2 on the motorcycle thing, i dont understnd why people ride eachothers butts.. unless its in the bed room. it doesnt make sense. "ooh you can drive as fast as me, can you stop as fast as me?" yah just keep right except to pass

 

It's all a matter of perception, really.....

Human nature dictates that anyone driving slower than you is in the way. Anyone driving faster than you is a maniac. We've all had these feelings. It's best to let it go and report all dangerous road behavior to the police......

.....or you could just do like me and follow them home and kick their asses!

Got a lot better with it.

Life is too short for this crap, you put other drivers in danger by getting angry on the roads, and you might end up dead.

Swallow your ego, and take a deep breath, you family and friends will thank you for staying alive.

Honestly guys for your sake just let it go. I use to have REALLY bad road rage when i was younger but have since taught myself better. One time a guy cut me off and i did the same as most, got in front of him and drove the speed limit. He then started to speed up to my bumper then drop back and repeat. I got so mad that i decided to locked up my brakes as he started coming towards me which forced him to jam on his brakes and almost hit the guardrail ! This was on I-95 doing like 80 mphs. I not only put my life in danger but his and all the other drivers around us. I don't say this to brag but you give you an example of how some people (me included) can really over react and get someone hurt/killed.

I now just let people pass me and go about my business.
