Road&Track's August review of tC
I don't know if this was posted already but I searched and didn't see it so here are some quotes and a link to the article:
"The low, elongated greenhouse with its muscular C-pillar, and the BMW-like headlights and front fenders give the tC presence that is unique to the sub-$20,000 hatchback-coupe class."
"The silver-colored center console...looks like something pulled straight out of a car costing at least $30,000. Another high point: The cabin offers outstanding rear passenger leg room."
"The TRD supercharged tC we drove demonstrated a noticeable surge of power all at once in the mid-rpm range but seemed to offer no additional power down low."

How about this one from NCTD? They're not as conservative with their praise. No time trials but lots of purple prose:
"This is perhaps the best small Japanese coupe we have ever driven, at a price that is ridiculously low."
"One of the things that came through after our initial drive was the quietness of this small, inexpensive car, which turns out to have more sound insulation in it than any other Toyota product this side of a Lexus V8."
"...quality leaks from every pore."
"There's nothing missing. It's all here."
"although it is inexpensive, it is anything but cheap."
