Would it be possible to just get the amber signal TYC lights and just take them apart to tint the signal red? Seems to me that would be way less expensive. Usually you can just heat headlights and tail lights in the oven on LOW and pry them apart.

you could go to the dealership, give the vin number, and if they ask to see your car, just say you dont have it with you, and have someone take you in their car or drive another car down there, and thats only if they want to get technical

And the blinker blinks red, not amber. The choice is yours: try and locate a RS3 VIN# and pay an outrageous price for them or just buy some Lens Paint for $50 (2 cans @ $25 ea.). They may not look exactly like the RS3 tails but I'm still very happy with them.

I have access to a couple RS3 Vin #'s. I checked and it is OK to purchase these tails even if you don't have a RS3. I was about to purchase mine the other day until I found out it was going to cost........$520 and that's with my employee discount that I get for working for Toyota/Scion. For non employees it would be around $600 for these tails.
