Default Rust question

In the hole where the center caps go on the front two wheels, the post that sticks out inside is starting to rust. Is this normal? How serious is it?

lol so yours is rusted a bit on the threaded rod inside the hole where the center cap goes too? I guess I thought since I assume the wheel is attached via that threaded rod, rust would be a bad thing.

That is just the center hub, that's all.. that rust is just surface rust and it happens.. Behind there is the wheel bearing for the hub.. so no worries
