i have the rear trunk spoiler, but not the silly tall one i have the lip one that is just like a bump on the trunk..

hey its starting to rust a little bit on the way left side where they must have knicked it when they installed it? is this warrenty, what the heck? can i bring it to dearlershipings?

you can always try and if they say its not their fault make a big commotion and tell them youll never buy a toyota again and theyll fix it

 

how could the lip spoiler rust? its not metal. is it?

 

it has metal peg things that go into the trunk(which has to be drilled)

most people just use 3M tape for the lip spoiler

well... to be more specific... YES they do.... it's just they drill along with using 3m double sided tape that is already on the lip spoiler itself.

 

Sounds like whomever installed it didn't do it right because the adhesive raised allowing water in and causing the pegs to rust.
That's a legitimate gripe to the dealership in my book.
