A Sad Day for My Baby - and SS pic - 56k = "eh"

It had to happen eventually. And it's only been about 5.5 months.

And then...

In other news... here's a pic of the Creative Compacts Short Shifter actually installed:

There's a trim ring below the shifter that the boot is secured to... I ended up turning it upside down to show that chrome ring around the bottom of the ****. I think it looks better.

I have a theory! Super White Tc's get the most mileage put on them! I'm almost at 3 months, and I have 6400 miles on it!

My car turns 6 months tomorrow and I have 12.5k on it already...a lot for work though which sucks.

jeez, I think our cars are twins. i got mine in april and just driving it back from its first roadtrip (chicago to D.C and back) i flipped to 10,000. so depressing.

on the other hand, the car does awesome in the mountains. i got anywhere from 28.75 to 30 mpg going anywhere from 70 to 90 mph. most cruising was done in the 85mph area. still got good gas mileage

Ya... mine was mid-April or so... like the 19th I think. I registered here the next day.

My gas mileage has been great so far... avg 27-30 easily between city and highway. Much better than my previous vehicle... which averaged about 16-17mpg highway. It was a POS.
