soo i know its bad driving without an intake but is it okay if i drive without it? just going like a couple of miles..i dont have an intake cuz i got jacked
and also does the stock intake just snap on?
they also took my air sensor..do i really need it or can i get it later?

the car will not car without an intake there. if you put the stock airbox back in without the sensor then it will still have air escaping through there so it still won't start up.

 

ur car will shut off anyways without and MAF sensor

actually i know for a fact that the car will run and drive without a maf sensor (not too well, but it will). i did it when i broke mine installing my turbo kit. i drove it like 2 miles from the garage to my house

idk how it did it. it was more or less in a limp mode. i think it was just guessing at what fuel should be there. like i said, it didn't drive well at all, but i got it home by driving it like an old lady so i wouldn't hurt anything

 

Oh dizam bro. That sucks. Dont drive it. I hate to hear this crap. Now you have to shell out some money for a new MAF. Well call the local junkyards to see if there are any tC's around and go get yourslef a new MAF and intake for cheap.

 

NVMyTc is selling a MAF sensor in the engine/drivetrain classifieds, look for it in page 2.

without the maf sensor your car will go into a sort of safety mode, it will run rich because it can't read the aount of air. it'll still run, albiet with a higher chance of it dying, but it sitll will run.

even if you tried to hurt hte car it won't hurt itself, it sets you insanely rich......lol. i tried. trust me.

 

ohh, every time ive tried to start my car without an intake during an instillation or whatever it has never started. one time it came off the throttle body and it dies instaltly

 

it'll die a bunch of time in hte beginign but will start up eventually
