so while the 2005-2007 subaru impreza wrx is the most expensive car to insure, coming in second is...the scion tC!
way to go everybody, pat yourselves on the backs, we own the second most expensive car on the road to insure!

Lol not surprised, 99% of the tc drivers I encounter on the road on a daily basis drive like they just finished watching the entire F&F series. The other 1% goes to the female driver multi-tasking on her cell who cant stay in her freaking lane.

man, i just found out a female friend of mine who i helped buy her 2007 tC had ANOTHER little accident. apparently this time she was making a left hand turn at an intersection, and apparently took it wide and skidded on some gravel in the middle of the intersection since nobody really drives on that part of it and skidded out and hit the curb, busted her wheel, did 3 grand worth of damage. sigh. basically took a left turn too fast and f***ed up.

For being the second worst car to insure..... I am not paying that much for FULL COVERAGE insurance on my 06, in Colorado.
$76 a month, 1000$ deductible w/ Progressive
and WTH! Pontiac Solstice on the best to insure? why b/c it's a mid life crisis car?

my friend at nationwide said it is the loss ratio that jacks up insurance rates. basically toyota makes and sells a lot of scion tc's many of which are bought for new drivers, or are bought by fast and furious obsessed retards, both of whom either drive recklessly or absent minded and are responsible for accidents and such. scion tc's are also among the highest ticketed cars in the country which contributes i'm sure.

looking at the other cars on the list, pleasure cars like 2 seater convertibles that are not very useful in daily driving like the corvette, solstice and mx-5 are usually bought for weekend getaways and such, and are not driven during peak rush hour traffic. also, these owner's tend to be older more experienced drivers who do not drive like d!ckheads.
then extremely family oriented cars like the minivans and wagons like the subaru outback, and such are driven by soccer moms and family's who don't want to jeopardize their children with high speed antics to risk their lives. also, if you've ever driven a ford five hundred, or chrysler town and country, you're probably wondering where your life went wrong.

Luckily I only pay $83 a month with a $500 collision/comprehensive deductible for my VAN according to State Farm
Insurance premiums will only continue to go up with the Scion tC. I run into several claims involving tCs at work and the payout on those claims are always several thousand dollars.

i pay a little over $600 every six months for my tc. full coverage/ 500 deductible so a lil over $100 a month for me.

I have full coverage on my car. I pay around $770-780 every 6 months. The way my insurance agent has set it up, I am covered but not technically in the system as a daily driver. If I was fully in the system, I would be paying an extra $2400 a year. It's ridiculous. As long as I keep a clean record, I won't have to worry about it.
