there is a good road up here called protero road, it goes the back way over the Canejo grade. Mullholand is awesome, especially the north end that starts down at Leo Carillo and goes past the Rock Store.

I have to agree. The downside to that is the risk of injury/crash/death goes way up. Might as well just race on a track.

lol why would I be responsible? If you can't drive you won't survive hehehe. A-line racing is for muscleheads and nitrous users...... Real racing envolves cornering skillz and proper shifting...

The tC has enough agility and low end torque to give 99% of the cars out there a run for their money in a S-line challenge..... I totally schooled a mustang cobra the other day on a 2 lane ramp getting on the freeway. He was about to lose it with his body roll at 60 and I was like 85 sticky like superglue hahaha.

I consider any challenge of 'who has a better performing car' a race. period. A line or S line, it is all about who has the best car... I am not talking about track racing, what you call road racing.... street racing to me is urban assault on who has the ***** and the stupidity to take it there.... i.e. weaving through traffic, taking corners fast, almost hitting pedestrians you know

Why is the topic of this thread *REAL RACE*

That was not a real race. A real race is from a dead stop, with both cars taking off at the same time.

And it should be on a track... I'm not preaching, but it should definitely not have other traffic to worry about!

Either way, it's just more proof that a tC can't touch a type-S... So what's new?

Interesting vids slowpoke thanks for posting. Once the the TC gets supercharged in conjuncition with a full exhaust its gonna keep and build a lead on the rsx-s with out a problem.

The video is sweet. Besides the fact the tC lost ever race. it shows its not as slow as people make it out to be, and at the same time Not as FAST as people like to think it is. keep in mind that each of the cars had at least 3k higher base msrps and not to mention aftermarket bolt ons to his stock tC.

when you raced the rsx, that's exactly what me and my race with an integra gsr looked like, i got ripped up after 3rd.

But I am definatly a fan of real track/road racing. I love just gunning it and shifting like there's no tomorrow, but there is just something about taking a turn at 65 mph and beating the ____ out of a mustang gt that I just love. Or taking the S "turn" in a straight line :-p.

i'm not trying to take away from your win, but i'm assumeing the SI didn't know how to drive. my friend has a SI an intake, dc sports race header (made for the rsx type-s) and exhaust, and he beats me and i'm stock.

nice vid... that seems about right with the rsx-s. by the end of 3rd it's all over. shouldn't beat tc by bus lengths unless you were racing 100+ mph...

nice race.

it's quite possible for the two cars to stay together or even have the tC take the lead at the beginning because the two cars make power in different ways and the roll mph was hurting the type S more.
