Can always keep in touch here at SL, at the very least check out the import shows coming up. You wouldn't be the first now-Honda owner to stay on the boards.

Just wondering, how did the roof hold up when it flipped?

white_tC you should have gotten the Si ;) with the k20 a true racing engine. Sick 8200 RPM redline. 8600 with reflash ;)

I was considering the Si too, until I found my car, which provides the same horsepower without 2000 extra rpms, renowned Quattro AWD, does not have 3rd gear grinding and oil leaking issues, and with a $600 "chip" provides me another 60 horsepower. I don't think there's any mods for any Civic with that hp/dollar ratio. And i'm pretty sure it doesn't rattle like an Si either.
So with the AWD, I have a car I can drive all-season, handle like a champ and be only 0.1 of a second slower than an Si in the 1/4.

Boy, I wish I could have gotten an Si. Don't we all though?

For tracking? Of course not. But this Si is your "daily driver," because you have an M3. So yes, it is a bad thing. It's impossible to have fun in unless you wind it up to 8000. Most of us don't track. We commute. Besides, your godly Si is as much a grocery-getter as a tC, and my A4.

And the 2.0T is a newer engine, but it is the descendant to VWs 1.8T, a long-living bullet-proof motor. Oh well though, I guess it doesn't have "racing heritage."

Man, I wish I were part of an automotive "culture"!

LoL man you are comparing a car that has 2.0 N/A engine and that makes as much power as your turbo 2.0 :-| comon N/A > Turbo anydays. The day "audi" makes a car that revs that high and that makes the same power as the Si then Id consider an audi. Man the SI revs so high and fast.. Hence the 6.3 0-60. And that 3rd gear grind is an easy fix, royal purple MTF
