Same thing happened to me. The dealer said I was the first one to tell them. My GPS rubbed against the column a little on the highway and now I have some black spots there. Plus the cord was against the radio door and there is scratches from that. All on the second day.

 

Wax it. I wax mine every once in a while, and it keeps it nice and protected from scratching.

 

mine has had a scratch since i got it.
