Default Scion celebrates its 5th anniversary

http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/25/s...h-anniversary/

Woot Woot.
But some may think it will fade away and will not last another 5 years. I think it will last.
Not huge news, but scion related none the less.

ehhh.
that would take away from scions younger target market.
i dont think it would sell that well, because if you want a scion thats a sedan, you pretty much just buy a toyota.

haha yea.
scions are for younger ppl, affordably priced
toyotas are for mid life ppl, slightly more expensive, more family oriented
lexus's are for older people, more luxury oriented.

the idea is to have a young person buy a scion, then a toyota, then a lexus so they have al ifelong customer.

id be fine if they just made the tc RWD with a turbo from the factory.
i think most the ppl on here would go trade their tc's in the very next day. lol

It would be sick if the new Lexus (can't remember the name, like IF or something?) 2dr v10 would be rebadged as a Scion. But, pretty much anything that is going to look real sporty and handle well, be fast etc is going to cost too much. Therefore again putting it out of Scions target market.

A nice RWD 2dr 4banger would be nice though, to compete with the S2K. The Scion xF or something. *****.

well the new lexus that your talking about is the IS-F. Its out already and I believe its basically a IS with a body kit that looks badazz and a bigger V8 with 416hp. I would trade in the tc for that if i had th money.
