The buttons are poking through the rubber, it should be more like BMW's and the buttons should be plastic, but they stole enough from BMW, right?

I woulda liked a flip out key like the VW Bugs have. But then again, I hate me some keys.

I like the shape of the key. Some people are shocked by it's size, but it's all good.

My buttons are shiney and bubbly, too.

i agree. i believe someone in scionlife actually painted the key black a while ago. it looked 100% stock and a little better than grey in my opinion.

I know. Mine's not even a year old yet, and the buttons are all deformed and jacked up.

Because the 'bubbles' are the 'button' part of the button. The plunger which actually makes the contact.

The plastic they used in the key wasn't thick enough to hold it's shape.

They figured people would use it much less....how many of us when locking or unlocking press it 3-4 times?

Cumon, we're all guilty, and sometimes just to see the car blink!
