Default Scion/Pioneer Deck - Sirius issues

I have this head unit in my Matrix

With the Sirius connect system. Been there 2 years now, working perfectly.

I forgot to renew my sirius subscription in Aug, and finally did the other night. It worked as good as before.

Until yesterday, that is. My wife had my car, and she called me saying it wouldn't do anything when she pressed the sat button, but then it started working ok.

Today I got in my car (It's cold here, btw ; -9 Celsius) and the radio was on FM. When I turned the car off, it was on Sirius 63 - I know this because I was listening to Mojo Nixon rant last night lol.

I pushed the SAT button, and nothing.

Now when the car warmed up, it worked fine. I took the glove box out, and checked the connections on the sat box and they are fine, the antenna's fine (It would say 'ANTENNA' on the display if that was the problem).

Is this normal or a bad sign? Bad connection on the back of the HU?

Honestly, check out some Sirius forums. I don't think it's the radio. I have XM (now Sirius)...or whatever they call it..Sirius/XM. I have a plug and play unit, and when I start the car, it tells me the channel is off the air. Sometimes it comes on by itself, but I usually have to change the channel then go back to the one I want for it to come on. Maybe some issues since the merger?
