Scion Racecar to Make Appearance on SPEED This Weekend in National Broadcast
JD Scion tC to Be Seen Duking it Out in Mid-Ohio KONI Challenge Race
TORRANCE, Calif. This Saturday, June 28, on SPEED, the Jackson-Dawson team and their groundbreaking Scion tC racecar will be seen taking on the best of the best in the national airing of the Grand-Am KONI Challenge race at Mid-Ohio. The program airs at 2 pm Eastern/ 11 am Pacific. "Its going to be exciting to see what the cameras captured last weekend at Mid-Ohio, said Dan Gardner, team manager and driver. "We know that battling in the top 10 and shortly taking the lead should result in some good on-camera time for our Scion. A televised pro road race with a Scion in it now thats something!
Next week the team heads to Watkins Glen for another Grand-Am KONI Challenge race on July 5. Live timing and scoring can be tuned into online for those that would like to follow along. Information on Grand-Am and the series can be found at www.grand-am.com or www.konichallenge.com.
