Scion Racing Development?
Hey anyone heard of a division of performance parts like TRD but for Scion specifically, like SRD? A couple people coming into the dealership have asked me about if it was really happening and I'm not sure where people have heard this, and I wonder if it's just a rumor. That would be kick a** if they had something lke this...maybe they would actually do some real performance instead of the kinda weak support right now...

I think someone just made stickers with SRD instead of the TRD. I've seen them on Ebay.
I don't believe they would make a division for Scion's since it is still Toyota.

I googled it and found nothing.
Any racing support of a Toyota nameplate is done through TRD whether it be Lexus or Scion. Ironically, that's the reason why the Lexus IS hasn't made it to the track yet. Some privateers called "
Team Lexus" were designing a racing version of the IS for the American Le Mans Series in conjunction with TRD, but because TRD USA was in the early process of building their NASCAR Nextel Cup program, TRD let it fall by the wayside effectively killing the project.

Scion Racing Development is in fact a real thing. They dont produce any parts or really produce anything. Its just a name. You can find it on Chris Rado's World Electronics drag tC and on a few other Scion "race cars". Its basically just a sticker so dont expect to see any parts with SRD on them.

Right but his point was that Scions don't deserve their own performance division because they're not fast, but I wouldn't consider any of those other cars fast either so...that's all I was gettin at. But I guess this thread can be locked now since everyone gets frustrated with people who don't read the forums on a constant basis...lol
