Default Scion Security / Alarm

Just wondering if anyone's got a full rundown of the security features for both the stock alarm and the "Scion Security" add on option.

Specifically; can I reprogram any features as with the seat belt beeper, windows, etc.
Can I do this with both the stock "alarm" and optional "security?"
Wondering about things like doors locking when I turn the car on, turning the alarm off, etc.

stock factory option alarm is "Scion Security"...
seltbelt beeper is part of tha car and not security

windows.. what's there to program?

doors locking when you turn car on is not an option...
beeping when you lock/unlock the car is not possible nor programmable.

when you disconnect your battery you gotta reprogram your windows to use the auto down feature.

from my understanding every car comes with the "alarm"
it's what makes all the noise when you hold the panic button on your remote. the "Scion Security" is the option and i was looking for a list of what features this has.

For as much $crill you pay for the 'Scion Security' option, just buy an aftermarket alarm. It will come with feature the SS doesn't have and will be cheaper and better.

yeah.. but that's a car thing... along with the panic on the keyless.
that has nothing to do with an alarm.. or with scion security.

what features it does have?
window breakage sensor,
and if the car is armed, and someone tries to open the door (either forced entry, or you forgot to roll up the windows), the car will re-lock and the alarm will go off.

that's really about it.

word. that's answers my question i guess. just a little bummed it aint a better system. my 94 4Runner had autolock, engine cutoff if the alarm was tripped, warning that alarm had been tripped (lights blinked extra when unlocked), an a bunch of other features. guess i'll be lookin into aftermarket anti theft.

the car itself does come with an engine immobilizer system which works with a chip located inside your key.

(thus why replacement keys are so expensive)
