Those are the numbers for the tuner edition, not for the 07 tC.

No Petey, it is coming. Only available in White, Black sand, Flint, and Silver. Not yet sure of the mix of production or the prices. They say that the goal is about $1000 - $1500 less than current.

I perosnally don't see enough value to justify buying it over a stock unit. I mean, you can sell the stock wheels for about $500 for the set that alone covers alot of the cost difference. I like Cruise and Audio Controls. Also, the interior looses some creature comforts like fabric on the center armrest and 12V outlets.

If your goal is to ahve a lighter vehicle, less standard equipment so people can getthere own wheels, etc. I guess it would work. I guess it will compete better price wise with a base civic or cobalt though.

Thats the listing for both I believe. You can see it says "also available" in the lower half of the list.

Scion is epxecting tuners to dump another 15-20k into the car. This is not for someone who wants a tC and then add a few things to it. Think "Pimp My Ride" and "Overhaulin". Completely new motors/interior/wheels/ICE/Etc.

And you do not have to get the spec package to get the visors, they are on all the 07's.

What I want to know is:

1. Is the bump in redline for all 07, or just the TE?

2. How did they bump it? Just a flash of the ECU, or is there something different mechanically?

Personally I'd rather have a higher redline and have both the torque & max hp at higher rpm. I love the sound of a high revving engine. It would be nice if I could do that to my '06 with just a reflash. Even better would be if I had a button to make it one way or the other.
