Default Scion tC AE86 Trueno replica...

I am thinking of making my tC into a new skool AE86 trueno look alike..since its SW...carbon fiber hood..carbon fiber lip kit..trueno badging etc.
Any thoughts on this..anyone do this? j

Just figured since the tC is the same body type as the AE86 was and they are both Toyotas and the arent 2 door Corollas anymore.

Wat u guys think? modern day AE86 Trueno.

can u drift witha tC? no
can u drift with a trueno? yes
is trueno jdm? yes
is tc jdm? no

i'd say this would look stupid, and wannabe...but that's my opinion.

I thought of just getting a trueno badge for the top grille and the hatch once upon a time, but thought better of it for the same reasons... if the tc was RWD or AWD, and thus capable of true drifting, it woud be more appealing.

well ACTUALLY! when car and driver first reviewed the scion tc in august of 2004, guess what toyota they compared it to??? a 1985 corolla GT-S aka an ae86!

http://www.caranddriver.com/roadtest.../scion-tc.html

so stuff that in your pipe and smoke it!

i got your back man, just don't take it too far. make a black or carbon fiber lip kit and hood, yellow foglights, black wantabe rims or whatever they are called.

i often compare myself to tak since we both drive super duper fast on a regular basis in the early morning hours and use our cars for delivery.

f*** the haters on this site, im all for your idea, it's your car and you should do what you want to it, i wanted to to put lexuz badges on my car just to look different and got shot down on here too. so please go with your original idea and post some pics up on here during the progress so we can check it out, all the non-haters that is.
