I just got the c/f trunk trim and i can't get it to fit right. it isn't sitting right and I can't figure it out. I don't know if it is the wiring for the trunk latch that is getting in the way. When I put it on there is a huge gap between the third break light and the trim. Has anyone bought this and had any trouble and figured it out please help. I really want to put this thing on my car.

 

where did you purchase it from? pictures? how you went about installing it...... all usefull information people will need to help you ...

 

I went about installing it by taking the back piece that was already on ther off. By unbolting the bolts and detaching the wiring for the trunk latch. I then retatched the trunk latch to the the new piece. And slipped the new piece on, sticking the 4 bolts through the 4 holes and screw it back together. After this I noticed that the piece it self isn't sitting right and that it looks like it is bubbling up. so if anyone has bought this piece and has had the same problems and figured out a way to fix it that is the information I am looking for. Uploading pictures will not do any good because you can't see the problem with a picture you need to be right there. The person that helped me put it in didn't even notice the problem, I did.
