Default Scion tC Chassis Code?

That's the chassis code for the tC? I search, but only find the Engine code (2AZ-FE)

You know:

AE86, AE101, SXE100, ST205, etc.

I did a Search and here on SL it says the chassis code is ANT10 and on the SCC website it says its FW21. So who is more credible?

Correct. sorry FW21. i don't know why SCC didn't use "ANT10" as the tC's chassis code. no offense FW21, but is this where you came up with your user name as well? Any know where SCC got that from?

ALSO, the chassis code also contains letter(s) of the engine code as well. since the tC has the 2AZ-FE engine, the chassis code is ANT10. the numbers in the chassis code also corresponds to the generation and model (if applicable). for example, since the tC is the first of its kind, it gets a 10 as in ANT10. if for some crazy reason Toyota would release a convertible tC, it would get a 11, therefore making it an ANT11. and the NT part corresponds to the lineup- the tC lineup. if someone is still not convinced, check out the other Toyota chassis codes...

Like the Corolla...
AE86= A engine family used; E lineup=Corolla; 8th generation (actually not, but this is usually true); 6th version of the chassis (in this case a true no-specific-version hatchback, though there are exceptions).

Or like the Supra...
JZA80= JZ engine family used; A lineup=Supra; 8th generation (probably including the versions under Celica, Supra); 0=only version of the chassis (Targa-top does not qualify as another version because it's considered equal to a moonroof).

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
