I guess I have JDM "inspired" fog lights...

JDM style parts for the tC are correct, just like the Altezza tail lights are Euro style, but there's no Euro tC...am I totally off on this topic? I'm tired too...

personally I don't see why people in the US would want to be like people in Japan. Here's an idea, why don't you just try to be urself???
I used to own a Civic b4 a tC and I used to hate the whole JDM crap, who gives a crap?

^the first thing I thought of as to why people with Japanese cars want to be JDM is because they are purists.

Purist: A purist is one who desires that a particular item remain true to its essence and free from adulterating or diluting influences. The term may be used in almost any field, and can be applied either to the self or to others....and cars.

There are a lot of cars where the JDM version does look a lot better than the USDM. That could be why some people do it.

Then a purist would want to keep the car just as it is. There is no JDM anything for the tC and if there was, they would want to keep it the way they got it right ;)

Right.

^the first thing I thought of as to why people with Jap cars want to be JDM is because they are purists.
I said that in response as to why people do it in general, as in Hondas and other Jap cars. Ours of course, is not JDM and cannot be, so correct on keeping tC's USDM.

This site has taught me so many things:

1) You can RICE OUT any car and turn it into a sports car with tons of stickers, badges for things you don't have and bolt-on wings, etc. you can JDM everything including your american-market-only cars.

2) A TC is a sports car. (I'm being sarcastic). and I say this because I've seen a couple of pics of wrecked TCs on this site (and also on wreckedscions.com) where it was obviously the fault of the tC driver. Some of the crashes I've seen look like the TC was doing over 100mph which is ridiculous. Lookin' sporty doesn't mean you can treat it like a corvette/ferrari.

I'm not a hater by far - I have an xB and am considering moving to a tC... but some of the members of this site give tC owners such a bad rap.
